She is a problem.
She is.

She is a problem because,
if she wanted to change the living room
into a kitchen
and cook four meals at once
I’d gladly help her.

She is a problem because,
if she wanted to move to the nowhere
and change our names
and raise a family and a farm
then back to somewhere
to raise that family and some more,
I’d join her with a smile.

She is a problem because,
if she saw light and happiness in me
no amount of darkness in me
could survive her burning truth.

She is THE problem,
because if she wants to do something,
if she knows we need to do something
if something needs to be done for no reason at all
but that it was her idea
I would be hand in hand with her
no matter what.

She is the only problem I have
and it is BLISS.

This is a poem I wrote for my wonderful wife. She hasn’t heard it yet; we’ll see how that goes.
