Shiiiiiiit Ann, this was so good. You captured the feeling of fleeting inspiration so well. I know it all too well, but you put words to it perfectly, and in so many different, equally specific (and at times, hilarious) ways. I'm going to come back to this when my muse effs off unannounced, as it so frequently seems to :D
