How would I watch Netflix, is why I haven't thrown away my phone.

Although I watch it on my TV/Laptop.

I’m on that island. I wish it was far enough away to escape, but the world as I have learned has gotten so much smaller. However, poetry grows here too and that is a blessing.

Harry,

This reminded me so much of writing from the forties and the fifties, this focus on providing and simpler pleasures. Small dreams - but first, just the job. I loved the parallels that bring us to affording the cinema. Just a lovely meditative piece on the family and life so many want.

Thank you J! There was a lot wrong with that time, and really what do I even know about that time, but I do wish we could just have one job sometimes, not one full time and thirteen side hustles :D

“I really want no job

at all, rather

some life on a tropical island

hanging from trees in

hammocks reading poetry

and drinking coconuts raising children”

Same! What a dream life that would be.

And why do anything when it’s so exhausting and then why do we have money and want money and need money and what is money. Loved this post!!!!

Why are we governed by paper and governed by others who determine the worth of that paper and why does that value of that paper change and why can't I just print more silly paper. Gosh it's tough, aye :D

Thank you Samantha!!

Jolly good show, boys. Go woke, go bespoke, or simply shed tears at the next film starring Shia “waiter, there’s a paper bag over my head” LaBeouf 😂😂🖤🥹.

I'm a sucker for a bag over the head. It's dramatic, it's theatrical, it's chic. Who is this man? What is he hiding? Quite a lot, I think... 😂

Gah!! Both fantastic. The rallying speech of plaintive demands of power to be just partnered with the inner longing voicing its desire to just be.
