I so much enjoyed reading all of these terrific pieces! There were so many lines in each and every poem that I wishI could've highlighted! I'm so grateful 🙏 to have been included!🙃🙃🙃🥰🥰🥰
Honored that I was somehow included with these incredible pieces. Amazing. So much talent. I'm kinda speechless so this is a shitty comment. Love all of your work, all of you. Love BCP.
This is incredible as a collection - amazing how everything fits together and some really interesting work! I am humbled and grateful to be part of The Blank Page. Thank you, BCP!
Hand on heart, and you can ask Hazz or Joziah, we don’t “place” writers in a preferential order.
It’s a top-down collection. Someone has to go first, someone has to go last. Joziah has been last before, I’ve been last (or close to, I can’t recall) and I believe this is the first time I went first.
Reason being the image was one of the first in the post, and I was already intending to write about a Southern gal in a strip bar with undertones of racial bias.
It is a complement on the selection! I read Jill's poetry at the end of the day, normally. There is a subminimal quality to her writing. It helps me become more tranquil when I feel anxious.
Darling I don't have a passive bone in my body, more or less an aggressive, passive bone. I just call it what it is.
Thank you to BCP! I agree these are so good and love reading and re-reading them all. What a lovely thing to put out into the world right now- art matters and is so vital in times like these so deep thanks to all who read, write, curate . Heather Zoccali🖤
Another epic collection from the most talented poets on Substack! 🔥 I feel like I should bow before you all 🤍
Wow, Edward. What a piece. You stun in your artistry and representation of underepresented, hard workers. And the voice 🥳🥳🥳💥💥💥
Amazing poetry by everyone in this collection. Thank you all for sharing your brilliance and raw truths.
Subscribed!
Thank you so much! ^_^

If you say “Dark Chocolat” five times in front of a mirror, she’ll appear and give you a life-or-death lap dance.
Ha!!! That's the best comment I've had the "pleasure" to read!🙃💖😹
She needs her own weekly serial.
Candyman is so 2022.
Candy ma’am.
To be honest, I might settle for the actual dark chocolate, maybe with mounds of green…
I’m still walking around hearing people talk with southern drawls…

But see right there. V… You're so vulnerable. You're so honest - These are the things that makes your work reach inside people’s souls
You are hereby blessed by the Seven, and the Faith, from House Hightower.
Your poem was a commendable achievement for this house, and in time, we will reclaim the throne from Rhaenyra and her band of incestuous traitors.
You have my word.
Alicent.
im fucking dead *laughs and chokes on laugh*
Amazing. Simply amazing. What more is there to say? An artful tour de force. BCP does it again! And again! ❤️
Linda! You were a champion in that tour! Thank you for joining the race :D
We couldn’t have done it without ya ;)
So many stars under a clear Black Coffee Poetry sky..each shine 💗 my heart is happy to be ! To just be!
The constellation is brighter with you in it!
What a constellation it is, H.R.♥️♥️
I feel so much the same EVERY SINGLE TIME...
Thanks Samantha.
To be honest, I read through the poetry here, just like I did with the Suicide collection and I have peak Imposter Syndrome.
I struggle with imposter syndrome very often, but maybe the ones who aren't imposters are the true imposters? One Love Emma the paper tiger.
🖤
Imposter syndrome is a true sign you’re doing the good work. Keep on!
Same.

Oh, lovely boo, how grateful we are for you! 💛
You are BCP, dear Boo.
OMG Edward! I about died two syllables into your reading! Yo, that is some impressive alter ego living inside you!
I remember you did a southern drawl before, can’t recall her name, that was great, and this one is even better.
It’s going to take me forever to get through the rest because I’m going to keep listening to Dark Chocolat. 😂
Thank you for including me in this collection!
I REMEMBER = Mia Goth. I watched Pearl, and then wrote a poem based on her.
Ha ha! I have no idea how he got there, but this hickory dickory dock man lives within.
Two of my mates came to visit as I was recording and I had no idea they’d let themselves in. One of them asked “who the fuck is Dark Chocolate?”
😂I can imagine their wtf faces. Yes, Mia Goth!
😂😂😂
It’s an entirely different experience, as the spoken word OMG.
The rhythm and syllabic emphasis with the accent are fantastic.
This needs to be performed in a combined strip bar coffee shop where the waitresses dance pole to the sounds of beat poetry!
Definitely! Edward needs to take this on a stage tour for sure.
The man from South Dakota in my voice box could go on tour, I’d just be tagging along.
Thank you for putting Jill at the end. This was stimulation overload and Jill is a necessary for mind balance.

If we could place everyone at the top, we would.

You matter, Heather! Thank you so much for lending your words to BCP 💛
The world needs less beautiful and more BRUTIFUL.
Gonna read the rest today!!!!!
Edward, Dark Choclat has me mesmerized throughout!
She’s a working class, walk of wonder.
I stan for Dark Chocolat 🖤🖤
Melanie, I love this personification: "Loose associations as I
run closer to the hospital and farther away from the now
screaming trees."
Thank you, Ann Marie!
