If you say “Dark Chocolat” five times in front of a mirror, she’ll appear and give you a life-or-death lap dance.

To be honest, I might settle for the actual dark chocolate, maybe with mounds of green…

I’m still walking around hearing people talk with southern drawls…

Honored that I was somehow included with these incredible pieces. Amazing. So much talent. I'm kinda speechless so this is a shitty comment. Love all of your work, all of you. Love BCP.

But see right there. V… You're so vulnerable. You're so honest - These are the things that makes your work reach inside people’s souls

You are hereby blessed by the Seven, and the Faith, from House Hightower.

Your poem was a commendable achievement for this house, and in time, we will reclaim the throne from Rhaenyra and her band of incestuous traitors.

You have my word.

Alicent.

To be honest, I read through the poetry here, just like I did with the Suicide collection and I have peak Imposter Syndrome.

OMG Edward! I about died two syllables into your reading! Yo, that is some impressive alter ego living inside you!

I remember you did a southern drawl before, can’t recall her name, that was great, and this one is even better.

It’s going to take me forever to get through the rest because I’m going to keep listening to Dark Chocolat. 😂

Thank you for including me in this collection!

I REMEMBER = Mia Goth. I watched Pearl, and then wrote a poem based on her.

Ha ha! I have no idea how he got there, but this hickory dickory dock man lives within.

Two of my mates came to visit as I was recording and I had no idea they’d let themselves in. One of them asked “who the fuck is Dark Chocolate?”

It’s an entirely different experience, as the spoken word OMG.

The rhythm and syllabic emphasis with the accent are fantastic.

This needs to be performed in a combined strip bar coffee shop where the waitresses dance pole to the sounds of beat poetry!

Hand on heart, and you can ask Hazz or Joziah, we don’t “place” writers in a preferential order.

It’s a top-down collection. Someone has to go first, someone has to go last. Joziah has been last before, I’ve been last (or close to, I can’t recall) and I believe this is the first time I went first.

Reason being the image was one of the first in the post, and I was already intending to write about a Southern gal in a strip bar with undertones of racial bias.

If we could place everyone at the top, we would.

It is a complement on the selection! I read Jill's poetry at the end of the day, normally. There is a subminimal quality to her writing. It helps me become more tranquil when I feel anxious.

Darling I don't have a passive bone in my body, more or less an aggressive, passive bone. I just call it what it is.
